Extensions & Lines
Internal dialing without the customer hearing. Set up extensions so staff can call each other through the system.
Assign an extension
Team → [person] → Edit extension. Pick a 2- to 5-digit number. We enforce uniqueness within the org.
Assign a line
Each user can have one or more phone lines assigned — which inbound numbers route to them. Set on the team page or per-number under Routing.
Use it
From any cockpit, type an extension into the dialer. The call rings the other user's active endpoints without going through a number. Internal calls don't count against your number's minutes.
The directory
Press * at the dial pad to see the directory — everyone with an extension. Useful at the start, useless by week 3 when you've memorized them.
