The cashier-facing screen at /pos. Browse the menu, build a cart, take payment, send to the kitchen. Same data layer as adaptlive — every order is a work record.
The layout
- Menu — Left side. Filtered to active
menu_itemcatalog rows. - Cart — Right side. Modifiers, special instructions, allergy notes.
- Active orders — Top strip. Open and in-progress orders across takeout, delivery, dine-in.
Modes
Sub-routes for /pos/counter, /pos/handheld, /pos/bar, /pos/restaurant, /pos/takeout. Each opens with the workflow tuned for that station — bar runs tabs differently than the counter.
Connected to the cockpit
Phone order in progress? The same order appears in POS for the kitchen to start prepping while the call is still live. No paper tickets.
