SIP Softphones

For staff who'd rather have a mobile app than a browser tab, adaptlive supports any standards-compliant SIP softphone. We test against Acrobits Groundwire — but Zoiper, Linphone, and friends work.

Set it up

  1. Phones → Provision phone → SIP softphone.
  2. You get a SIP username, password, server address, and port. Don't share — these are credentials.
  3. Enter them into the softphone app and register.

Recommended app

Acrobits Groundwire on iOS and Android — paid, but the push-notification handling is best-in-class, which means calls actually ring on a locked phone.

It won't ring

The two real culprits: push-notification token expired (re-register in the app), or your firewall is eating SIP traffic (most common on corporate Wi-Fi). Switch to LTE to test.
