adaptlive

Twilio or Plivo

Both work. Twilio has RCS and stronger US attestation; Plivo is cheaper and easier on E911.

Twilio or Plivo

Both work. Pick one based on what your org needs.

Twilio

  • RCS branded sender — the only place to get it today.
  • Stronger CNAM and STIR/SHAKEN attestation in the US.
  • E911 address validation goes through a multi-step verification.

Plivo

  • Lower per-minute and per-message rates.
  • E911 addresses activate immediately — no waiting on validation.
  • SIP origination is simpler if you bring your own carrier.

Switching providers

Settings → Telephony → Provider. Owners and managers can toggle. New numbers go to the new provider. Existing numbers stay where they are — moving them is a port, which we'll handle if you ask.

Mixed-provider banner

If you have numbers on both providers (mid-port or by design), you'll see a banner on Settings → Telephony. Calls still route fine — the banner is just a heads-up.
