Routing Profiles
A routing profile tells a number where to send calls — and what to do when nobody picks up.
The three destinations
- Primary — Where calls go during business hours. A user, a ring group, a SIP endpoint, or another number.
- After-hours — Same options, different time of day. Defined by your Settings → Business Hours.
- Backup — Where calls go if primary rings out, fails, or is busy.
Voicemail and timeouts
Set Max ring seconds on the routing profile to tell the system when to give up and fall through. Voicemail is optional — turn it on and we'll capture, transcribe, and pin it to the caller's record.
Editing on the fly
Routing fields on the Numbers page are editable inline. Every change is logged — click the field-history popover on any cell to see who changed what when.
