Recording & Transcription
adaptlive can record calls and transcribe them in real time. Both are independent toggles on each number — turn on one without the other.
Recording
Toggle Recording on the Numbers page or on a number's detail. Recordings are stored encrypted, accessible from the call detail page, and retained per your billing plan's retention policy.
Transcription
Transcription is what powers the live cockpit. Without it, the AI has nothing to listen to. Turn it on per-number — it adds a few milliseconds of latency and a per-minute cost.
Consent
Many states require a recording disclosure. Configure a consent greeting under Settings → Telephony → Recording — adaptlive plays it on inbound calls before the dial goes through.
What you can do with the transcript
- Search past calls by content from Call History.
- The Quality Playbook reviews transcripts overnight and proposes new coaching rules.
- Voicemails get transcribed too — search them like any other call.
